Beginning in the 1980’s, it became very clear to me that what I loved most about medicine was the opportunity to help people understand why they don’t feel as healthy as they could and assist them on their path to optimal health. My goal for every patient, using a scientific approach, is to discover what factors are causing your symptoms and outline a plan to correct those imbalances.

Did you ever feel like you were just swept through a medical office and came out with a prescription but no one really understood you along the way? After 25 years, I know the best health care comes from having a personal, supportive relationship with a Physician who knows you well and has the time to listen. The type of person I am, and my office model, allows and fosters this type of relationship and medical practice.
I am the third of four children born and raised in a very loving family in Kansas City. I fell in love with Colorado and the mountains when I first learned to ski in seventh grade. Attending Regis University in Denver provided more years of Colorado life. My medical career brought me back to the Midwest, and my life was forever changed when on my first day of residency in LaCrosse, Wisconsin I met my wife, Dr. Nancy Peltola. After 27 years in the Wisconsin and Minnesota areas, adding three happy and healthy children to our family, and some world travel, we were able to move to Fort Collins in the summer of 2011. The entire family is thrilled to be here and to be a part of this wonderful community.
